Invisible Pain

Remember that you are NOT alone...

Most importantly, at some point you will probably be told by people who you thought understood that they think it might be in your head, or that you just need to exercise more, or that you would have a poor diet....

This may already have happened to you, or it is to come. When it does, it is important to remember that you are NOT alone.

You can join a support group or an online messageboard to talk to fellow patients and share experiences. In our weblink section we have selected messageboards which we can personally recommend. When you are having trouble deciding or if you would like to have more information, do not hesitate to email us.

Although it is difficult for those who do not understand what it is like to live with a chronic illness to know what to say to you, you can help them understand by educating them about fibromyalgia. Show them this leaflet, our videos and that there are many, many people out there that are going through the same ordeal.
