A big question is "Why are we ill?" An even bigger question should be "Why are we so alone in this?"

Brave family doctors and specialists admit that "They don't know" but continue tests, monitoring and some form of treatment. Others follow conservative directions, point a patient towards a Psychologist and discourage patients from the quest to find a physiological cause. Some even extend this in saying that this very action is what is making you ill.

Many patients have recovered or improved from Chronic Fatigue (Syndrome) / FM / Lyme after evaluation and treatment by an alternative practitioner. In addition, a lot of people have found remission or considerable improvement after evaluating and adjusting their diet and lifestyle. There are many testimonies to both statements and it is clear that improvement can be achieved outside regular medicine.

Not only the disorders above are disregarded or under diagnosed by modern medicine, also some rare disorders remain undetected for years, causing unnecessary suffering for many patients.

On the support pages we will try to provide links to other people that are facing the same issues you are facing. You are NOT alone in this. There are many patient groups, varieing from chit chat to research and treatment discussions. Discover what other people have already learned and share your experiences together.

Business Club is live

ImageIt is all about the money in the big bad world. Most of us have (had to) change our perspectives on that concept due to our illnesses. Adopting the philosophy that there is more out there than a career, a nice car and two vacations a year seems to happen so much more seamlessly when you have no choice.

At some point however, you will hopefully find yourself in a more stable position and you could actually manage working a few hours a day. For those patients we have established the Business Club. You can find the page under the submenu when you open the ‘Support’ page (or click here).

The ‘Club’ is in its infancy and we hope by giving it attention, the concept will grow because of your suggestions and ideas. Another topic we are working on for that section, is Saving Money. We hope to build a very useful list of things to do that can save you money when you are on a tight budget.

Enter your support group

As we are building links to information and support, we would like to invite all support group members and leaders to nominate their support group so we can put your information on our website. It does not matter where your group is located.

Let us know what the focus of your group is, what topics do you cover, how and how often do you have contact with each other and of course address and contact details. Feel free to use the secure email form on the "Contact us" option at the top of the page to inform us of your group and your activities.

Rich Carson - Road to Recovery

Rich CarsonI am excited to share my all about my recovery and I am working on an article for one of the upcoming ImmuneSupport.com newsletters. I am a slow writer and additionally, I have found myself busier than I could have possible imagined now that I am once again running ProHealth. Being the 'CEO' of a company with twenty-some employees is challenging and stressful, particularly after 17 years of total disability. Can you imagine? Nevertheless I am grateful and I love it!
